Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

Just like Royce's Street Hop sucked dick. I don't get what people see about these albums, they're much less emotionally driven, the beats are worse, the features are worse, I guess younger fans don't understand where I'm coming from, but these days, people are very desperate for new albums from artist's that used to be very consistent.

this. just because they release music doesn't mean it's going to be good. or just because you hear it on the radio by no means does that equate to a good song.

Okay, I'll take BP3 sucking dick (imo it didn't) but Street Hop? WHAT.

Are you kidding me? That album is a classic in '09-'10 standards. Gun Harmonizing, Shake This, Far Away, Dinner Time and Part Of Me are Royce at his best. The only weak links are Thing For Your Girlfriend and Bad Boy which aren't really THAT bad.

The only difference is Jay-Z was actually supposed to retire. He hyped up Black Album as his last big "Good bye", and it was nearly perfect...

and then he comes back and says he's working on a new album...

and then that new album was a huge disappointment :'(

Well...just a few days a go i saw a documentary abt Beyonce and apparently she was one of the reasons why Jay decided not to retire.Dunno how true it is as i haven't really looked into Jay's life lol.But also Dre's verse on Syllables made me think that Jay really wants to retire..someday ..lol.

He shouldn't have retired at all. He should have just come out with better music after it.

It's silly to say he should have retired at 34.

What, I can't have an opinion? :shakehead:

I don't love Empire State of Mind. Vastly overrated. I don't hate it, it's actually one of the better songs on BP3, but BP3 sucked. If you people can say Recovery or Relapse sucked, why the fuck can't I say BP3 did?

Edit: I just saw your other post saying you were kidding, so sorry
