Tbh, judging by your posts, I don't think you know much English to understand lyricism.

Not targeting you Menzo just feel like saying the instrumental world of Hip Hop is thriving and every bit as important as the vocal part, imo. When you got albums like Metaphorical Music by Nujabes and for the most part people listen to that album for the beats, it's a producer album after all. The mcs do their job, but the beats pretty much take the spotlight. And other albums wouldn't even be considered a classic if it wasn't for the beats (Blueprint), very few artists can make a beat work through pure passion though. (Ghostface, Tupac, Eminem)

all are hopsin except originality and style maybe

Please don't overrate Hopsin like that, he lacks a lot of lyricism, he's got good vocals, flow and his style isn't bad at all, he has the image to be a top artist, but he lacks the lyrics to be a good emcee. Never once heard an outstanding song by Hopsin, and i've listened to many of them.

His lyrics are amazing, Chris Dolmeth and Gazin at the Moonlight are bigger than anything Em had done since 02

if thats what u think.

then u are VERY wrong.

I see music as a whole, not divided in parts. So, dopeness is a thing that happens when the mix of all or most of the elements is at least good.
No exageration in any stuff, no nonsense screaming, weak or overproduced beats, or stupid rhymes with nothin or no reason behind 'em. Even stupid rhymes can be used to increase the dopeness when they have a reason.
Sometimes happens that one weak element don't stop the song from bein good cuz the others compensate it.
Bein risky is also good. Even if the final product is not very good, at least tryin somethin unexpected in any field is already meaninful.

It's somethin on the song itself. Bein great at lyricism when your beats suck, or vice-versa, overdo some aspect to compensate ther makes the song or album sounds stupid.
Good music is question of talent. If you don't have, nothin can help you. Even ghostwriters and great producers.

60% of recovery shit on any hopsin record, beware that u said 02 till now.

and hopsin needs end rhymes lessons from rakim, horror story writing lessons from stephen king, syllable stress lessons from Crooked I,multie lessons from Em himself,to even be able to think of being able to think of relapse.

This although subject matter is subjective, who the fuck wants to listen to an mc who has no purpose nothing to rap about. Yeah you may have all the technicalities down, but why are you even rapping if all you could do is drop hot 16s. Some really dope songs and albums even are great because of their subject matter or concept if you will.

Rhymes and flows don't mean much if you're not saying anything, I agree. A tribe called quest had some of the most simple flows and rhymes you'll ever hear but they were still crazily good.

"This is the difference between emceeing and rap
Rappers spit rhymes that are mostly illegal
Emcees spit rhymes to uplift their people.
" - KRS-One
"Historically speaking cause people be dissin', the first graffiti artists in the world were the Egyptians." - KRS-One

Dope is when you want to listen to it even though you heard it like a million times.

Pretty much this. I agree with all the points brought up here except for subject matter really, maybe it just depends on my mood but mostly I like listening to crazy, demented shit (thats what got me into Eminem in the first place) but at other times I like listening to meaningful shit that I can relate to. So while subject matter isn't one of the most important things for me it's still important.

that's a chorus homie, look at the versus... and it's a funny and cool chorus

still better of a chorus then On Fire

Thanks for mentioning the one song that shits on Hopsin's life. I love Hopsin's music though. GATML is one of my favourite albums ever!

PS: He's a great producer! I can't believe that's just self-taught from spending hours on FLStudio :flutter: Or maybe it's the way he just flows so well that I get the impression the beats are amazing :confusion:
