Sade is a soul, jazz and R&B songstress.
She's been the queen of that genre forever. She's a 4 time grammy award winner who's sold over 50 million albums worldwide.
Last year she made her musical comeback after 10 years, and her album was critically acclaimed it went gold first week in the US, the highest debut behind Eminem and Taylor Swift for the year. That's called a loyal fanbase.
The reason why this song is such a big deal is because Sade does not like collabs, she has said this for over 20 years. In the vault somewhere there's a track with her and Nas that was never released, it was recorded when the two were said to be dating, they're still good friends though. There were plans for her to record with Tupac too but it never materialized because of his death.
Last year, Drake made a public plea to get her on a song, and she refused. For a lot of n1ggas who thought our love for Sade couldn't grow any bigger, after the #DrakeFail, it did.
Sade is a goddess. I doubt you'd find any rapper who says that aren't a fan of hers.
Here's some of her best material. This is the definition of chilled out music. To be honest, it's gotten a lot of people through some really bad times.
