Don't get me wrong, it's still a dope mainstream album imo, plus it has it's moments of greatness. Beautiful Lasers, Letting Go, and Never Forget You were really good songs, and Show Goes On was nothing short of a perfect single.

Lupe's lyrics weren't even bad, it's just comparing right now to what he has done, you know what I mean?

I perfectly undestand what u mean and agree

EDIT: the good thing in lupe's situation is tht it wasn't his decision, his label forced him to drop a mainstream album, and he will drop another album this year that'll have the old lupe, but some artists we ain't gettin back :(

His next album will be a classic. I have almost no doubt.

I feel like Lasers gets way more hate than it deserves. It's not that bad an album, just for Lupe, it was a big step down and much more simplistic than his previous albums. There are a handful of gems that tend to get forgotten.
