Definitely not if you compare him to Biggie and Pac.

Well if you go by the amount of internet stans, and the amount of material he has out in comparison to them (well maybe not Biggie), than I'd say it evens out.

^Thing is, more Big L fans are just Hip-Hop fans who have him in their top 5-10 or something. The number of fans to who Big L is their number 1 artist is small so that where I was coming from. But yeah, I guess it depends on what type of listeners you've been exposed to. I've seen kids on YouTube dropping some outrages comments...

Yeah, the promotion kinda made it like it's gonna be a new album but it was only a mix of remastered songs. And a 2nd Vol. is going to be released next month as well:

In my top 10, one of the best to hold the mic. Such incredible talent, very sad we saw so little of it.

Probably because the promotion for it is basically zero, lol.

I used to think he was a GOAT but I don't think he can be with the lack of material

It's an unfair comparison though. Not many MCs have done as much as him until the age of 24.

Biggie, Prodigy, Nas, Rakim all had their peak before 24, well Biggie's peak was 24 and Prodigy fell off at around 24.

He could keep up with any of them. And as I said, not many have been "there" at that age. 10 out of hundred others is nothing.

I wasn't talking about who would kill who in a track, I was referring to the achievements the artists did before reaching 24. Big L probably would murder most of them in a track barring Nas in his prime and Rakim.

Gotcha. Well, the thing with L was that Columbia didn't promote him well so he took a step back for a few years. And he does have plenty of freestyles and unreleased songs but it's not as much I guess. Though again, he did accomplish more than most MCs by that age :)
