Please point out where I or anyone else said they were bad. I didn't, I said I like them. They're overrated, that's all. An album can still be great AND be overrated.

I really like Illmatic, but it's generally overrated by a bunch of 15 year old kids who hear it's a Classic and then proceed to suck it's dick when they don't know what they're talking about. Same with 36 Chambers. Both are good and influential, they're just overrated. 36 Chambers much more so than Illmatic.

-I talk like a redneck? Why, because i don't type in fucking Ebonics and can form coherent sentences? You expect me to type "black"? You think I'm some Uncle Tom "yess massa, I listen to what the white man sells massa." You ignorant Lebanese idiot (ooh I talked about your country). And I never said I was "gangsta" quite the opposite, but yes I have a vastly greater amount of exposure seeing as how I've grown up in the culture.
-Kanye IS lyrical, that doesn't equate with multis and wordplay. If you can't see that, oh well.
-I don't think Waka and Soulja are cool, I think they are trash musically.
-I like Nicki when she's on her game, which I've said over and over is very rarely. Pink Friday was cat vomit.
-Yes, I like Drake's stuff, mostly his mixtapes. Oohh.
-They are classics, never said they weren't. They're just overrated.

My bad then. But it is mind blowing IF anybody says they are bad. Now you're all warned ;)

EDIT: And to Devilsadvocate... I don't think I have ever read a great post written by you. You're one of the worst members here, "nikkazzzzz".

Yeah I don't know who would say that. Wu's lyrics aren't great, but the whole concept is really cool. CREAM, Protect Your Neck, and Bring The Ruckus are all awesome.

That makes your opinion invalid.

Haha it has some relevance in that he obviously didn't grow up in a hiphop culture, but in the end it just pisses off his little mind so it's pretty funny.

BTW on a hunch I searched "Devil'sAdvocate" on FB. He uses it as his FB name. I suggest everyone do the same, it's pretty hilarious to know who I'm arguing against. I'd post his pic but I think I'd get banned.

MBDTF is called a masterpiece, ground-breaking and earth-shattering.

In reality, it's an average/good album.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rDysbl6fAE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px-e1sfmYzo

kanye never did, never is coming close to these.

kanye makes enjoyable music,i give you that,he a good artist,an average rapper.

you never gonna be the man she is. :coffee:

@lello
