I'm so confused by you (and I disagree about the flow thing). You've praised him many times before, but in this post are you saying you think he's amazing or do you not get why he's amazing?

He is amazing. His wordplay is awesome, and so is his beat selection, singing and concepts. But I don't know how to explain it...It sounds like him and the beat are seperate like he is staccato to the melody of the music. That and his rhyming comes off as lazy most of the time, where he forces a rhyme or just says idgaf and rhymes one syllable.

I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

There is more then 1 actually :sweating: people keep praising and saying how good they are etc.Like Kanye,Lupe,J Cole...i just never got into them, but i ain't gonna force myself either. There are also a lot of artists from which i only like a selection of tracks...i don't stress too much about it tho.I listen to mostly everything at least once...if i don't like i delete and move on lol.
PS:TBH Em is the only artist i listened to everything he's ever put out...so far :)

I honestly can't get into his music, only shit that I've really liked from him was his verses on Bad Meets Evil. Other than that he just comes of as a pale, lifeless mc who performs yawn inducing cliche hardcore rap, doesn't help that I find his production drab as well. I mean he has all the technicalities down of a decent mc, but he's just so tacky and corny with his punchlines and comes off as a glossy try hard mc, that appeals towards the preteen demographic.

You think I'm a good artist.

Thank you :flutter:

And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,

Have you listened to Hip Hop is Dead or Distant Relatives? Those are the albums that I'd recommend for those who are looking to get into Nas.

Rhyme Asylum.

I may have talked shit about them in the past, however I do acknowledge their talent.
But musically they just don't appeal to me.
