Was gonna say, kinda young to catch Xzibit when he came out uh.
I started listening to hip-hop when I was like 9. It was Em that got me into it, but was automatically aware of Dre, Xzibit etc. as a result. Due to The Chronic 2001 etc.
Then I've slowly expanded from there. I didn't even move on from Em until Kanye came along I think lmao. I knew of other hip-hop and I listened to grime a lot but around the time Em was bowing out was around the time Ye was coming up, so was a natural transition.
I clutch onto artists too and follow them one or a few at a time. In recent years I more so follow the genre, or, some of it but, don't know how so many can follow so much at once. Fuck listening to the odd song here and there from somebody as...
