Why do you love Kanye West?

What I don't understand is how Kanye has some of the best albums ever but has some of the worst features I've ever heard (he once managed to get his ass owned by Drake on a fucking song).

Oh, and I love Kanye because he doesn't do the linestep. He does something and he does not move from that stance, even though I do tend to disagree with some of his decisions. However, he's humble enough to know when he fucks up i.e. the Taylor Swift thing.

He's not much of a technical rapper, but that's because he's more than a rapper. He's an artist.

Fair enough. But if he's so shit at them, why do em at all? I'm fairly sure he doesn't NEED to at this point. Considering he's one of the most popular rappers on the planet.
