Yeah but treating music that way is kind of lame...

Innovators are respectable, biters ain't.

You wanna praise someone who basis what he does on what others do which 'works'?

That's a pretty lame thing to do artistically. Good in business, but lame in art.

What he's actually bites shouldn't be praised or respected, sure. But you gotta respect his work prior(I'm sure you already do)

It's pretty shameful but I doubt Jay cares as long as his money is still up and his legacy is still intact. Lol

Yeah well Reasonable Doubt is really good... he is talented... and I actually quite enjoyed most of Blueprint 3. I wish he'd rap about more than how much money he's got lately though as... it's getting seriously tiring. Nearly as tiring as Kanye rapping about race and how hard it is to be a millionaire privileged black man, who grew up in a tough middle-class background with a professor mom. Lol.

Seriously doh, everything I hear Jay on in the past couple of years... you could almost interchange his verses. He was entertaining in parts on WTT but... I'm amazed he doesn't recognize the redundancy in what he's saying more often, or maybe he just doesn't care.

He reminds me of 50 in a way as in - you watch him in interviews describing his aims and what he does or aims to achieve artistically and it's like 'hmm, interesting, this should be good' then he comes out saying the exact same shit in nearly the exact same way lmao.

The beats sound awesome.

But seriously, releasing an album only for Galaxy owners?

Nah it's not...

It's just that people with the Galaxy will get a chance to get a free copy before everybody else.

But then it's being released as normal.

I think Jay's a biter.

Biggie on You're Nobody 'til Somebody Kills You

"With my Sycamore style, more sicker than yours
.44 and 54 draw"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSdKuHvdPZ0#t=56s

Jay-Z on December 4th

"I was conceived by Gloria Carter and Adnes Reeves
Who made love under the sycamore tree
Which makes me a more sicker M.C. and my mama would claim"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dv_EnDJzCQ#t=43s

That's too subtle to be homage.
I'm not tryin to be rude, but I sincerely wanna fuck the taste out of your mouth

I doubt they will @ count them, since they were sold in a private deal before official release, not scanned through retailers.

These beats sound ridiculous, very reminiscent of The Black Album

Hopefully Jay's rapping is on point
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified
