Only reason why you love ''Jimmy Iovine'' is because it's about Eminems boss

Care to elaborate? I've only heard like 5 Macklemore songs so..... yeah.

Instead of violently going head to head with the system and everything it stands for, Macklemore instead embraces....like fucking everything. He's the most positive and happy rapper I know of.
I wouldn't say he embraces the system, he just uses other means to fight it. He is by no means a conformist, he bashes on everything from the anti-gay laws of this country, consumer culture, and religion in his music, he just does it in a peaceful happy way. It's pretty genius.
Think about Thrift Shop, that song is bashing on brand name clothing and consumerism, but he makes it fun and happy.
The Otherside bashes on rapper's like Lil Wayne that glorify drugs, but he does it in a respectful manner. It's not like he's dissing Lil Wayne, he's just speaking out against what he promotes in his music.
Wing$ is another song that focuses on consumer culture and how crazy/violent people can get over a pair of shoes.

You say this as if Eminem is anti-gay, pro-violence and pro-drugs.
Eminem and Macklemore are both ex-drug addicts...drugs nearly ruined both of their lives. I'd hardly call Eminem "pro-drugs."
The difference is that Eminem finds the humor in violence/drugs and Macklemore isn't funny at all.
