Where as... as soon as artist has the mindset of 'do more of the same'... they may as well give-up as they're throwing the towel in on creativity. They're opting for what they know works rather than bravely trying to re-invent the wheel - What would Tarantino be if he just stuck to doing crime movies? My bet is not half the genius he is today; it's taking risks which initially makes those kinds of artists what they are, the moment they stop taking risks is the moment they give up on being them.
