Not really... that wasn't meant to be serious. Snoop has adapted a lot to be relevant & have succeeded at it... he knows & he's said many times that he does most of those songs or whatever just for entertainment purposes. He's too old to do what he did in the 90's anyway & he'd look more ridiculous if he acted like the gangster he was back in the day in 2013.
On top of my head that Jaz-O song from couple of year ago in which he was rapping about the projects, drugs & all that in his late 40's was more than ridiculous.
