Agree. Usually it's that these rappers are the spiritual-miracle-lyrical type that can rhyme a bunch of multi's but lack the delivery. Like Hopsin.

Those percentages mean nothing because you're just pulling them out of your ass. I think a lot of god rappers are left "underground" because they make music that speaks to a narrower percentage of the population. Eyedea rapping about mental illness doesn't make his songs any less "good", but less people will be interested because of the subject matter.

True. Watsky for example. He's not record quality, but he's immensely entertaining and quite a fan base.

Though the issue is that most underground rappers rap about trite subjects anyway.
