I loved Born Sinner but it's buzz wore off quick. Most of the albums listed grew more popular with time, where as born sinner was kind of forgotten. I felt the promotion on the album was week, and cole should have done more radio interviews and TV appearances on night shows and stuff.

And I do really think that Good Kid Mad City was perfectly built and crafted. not only as a rap album, but as a very consistent body of work. It really has everything (including the critics and fans on his side) to win this award. Very deservedly so

If macklemore gets that award.... I will fucking, fucking hurt Macklemore openly admits to making songs because "they connect to people". Thats fucking easy!!!! To be honest, he is not bad, but blatant ass-licking to politically correct power brokers is disgusting. Thrift shop is kinda fun, Can't Hold us back is actually quite inspiring but all that Same Love, Jimmy Ivione, Ten Thousand hours stuff is so fake its unreal man. Hate the way it gets gassed up. Compare that to the genuine passion exhibited by other anti-pop stars ala Lilly Allen, Lorde and heck Eminem circa 99

As much as i like Kendrick and would love him to win, wouldn't mind Random Access Memories. That album be Dope as fuck. Get Lucky and Lose yourself to dance are great pieces in themselves but Goddamn, Girgio by Moroder is simply beautiful
