That ain't true though...

The shit he's become famous for sounds lame. But someone posted some shit from his first, unknown album before which was aggressive, lyrical shiz, by Wiz.

Straight up...Old Wiz had some solid lyrics. His newer stuff is just fun to listen to, i ain't feel his last album that much, but the one before it had some great songs to vibe to.

By no means a great lyrical track, but for fucks sakes, a very enjoyable song to listen to, like most of Wiz's newer stuff. Ya'll should watch Snoop and Wiz' movie together, it's straight up what their music is about. Having fun with life, while still making good songs. Wiz is still one of the better rhymers out there, he rhymes words that shouldn't rhyme together, and that definitely takes skill.

Yeah, Agree with Menzo.

Kush OJ is a great mixtape

I agree... he's mostly about hype in general but could add on a song & knows how to entertain. I'm not a big fan of his in general though.

I agree Kush & Orange Juice was good & made him too. :y:

Funny this thread came up now as Wiz is playing at a NYE festival that I was going to go to. I've honestly only ever heard 'Young, Wild and Free' by him.

Someone had to say it. That shit is an anthem. Fuck it, anyone who says they didn't like/party to Black and Yellow is a liar too. Those two songs were huge hits.

Wiz Khalifa is also a great hook maker. He's chill. I prefer Cudi, but he's still great at what he does.

Bobby was a much bigger visionary imo.

I liked The Adventures of Bobby Ray a lot, and hated everything after that. Songs like Ghost in the Machine, Nothing on You, Airplanes, Magic etc.. were dope to me. He found a great way to mix catchy/pop music with rap, it sounded fresh at the time.

And he's a dope producer too.
