^ I have no issues with the subject matter; I'm about as Pro-Gay as any other random nicca. What I do have a problem with is that is sounds false, hypocritical and pseudo-deep.
I was meh about Macklemore 'till I heard it, now my feelings about him and his music are tilting towards dislike especially since I saw Charlotte's thread about him "winning because his White" and his alleged Instagrammed text to Kendrick Lamar.
He has this air of "I want everybody to like me"/"I'm so nice and polite"/"Blame the Grammy voters, not me" that I strongly dislike.

@bigray to each his own.
@aone10 sharing the same sentiments as whoever wrote the article doesn't make us sheep, you know.

I also think the headline is bullshit and borderline racist, but I wasn't sure if it was Spin responsible for it so I ignored it.
What the article says though; that Macklemore is safe and gay-friendly and pop and as a result the Grammys are rewarding him, I totally agree with.
They did make it a point to contrast between Em and Macklemore though, thus removing most of the racist overtones imo.
I'll skim through again to see if there's something I missed.
