808 almost birthed Drake and influenced Kid Cudi and this whole style. You can't deny its influence, who did Encore influenced but Danny Brown?

Nobody because he isn't top 5. I'd rather put Weezy in my top5 than him :coffee:

The fact that an album influenced somebody else, doesn't make it good.
Kanye fans have the shittiest logic on the planet.

I knew you would answer. You are a pac stan, I get it, I like pac too, but to say that his classics are flawless is blasphemy

T-Pain basically birthed autotune in hip hop, should he be considered a goat ?

Lil wayne influenced a shitload of new rappers, nobody can deny that, is he a goat ?

People are taking this influence shit way to serious.

I dont even think you were born when pac was alive smh that thought process is so dumb, its like you make shit up to defend the other dumb shit you said.

Pac was big, no doubt, but I meant that he wouldn't be as big as he is today, worldwide. He influenced a lot of rappers, he added a lot to the west coast, no doubt, he has classics under his belt. What I meant though that all of these people on the list, had better albums then Pac.

And pac has better albums than the others on the list as well, I dont understand what you're trying to say.

"as big" .. learn to read, and no, he hasn't been as big as he is today worldwide. You can talk as much as you want, but Pac, only got really big in Europe etc. after his death. Ghetto gospel is probably his biggest hit/most played song outside of north america and that one dropped after his death.

I mean, you see it all the time by some stupid FB kids that put Pac in their timeline because they 'think' he's the best of all time. Because he represents them. That never was the case when he was alive. You really think that anybody cared about him outside of NA in 95 in europe like they did when Em or Jay blew up ?

I live in Europe, so I guess I would know breh

And I might have worded myself wrong when I said the shit about albums. What I meant that everyone on the list atleast had one better album than all Pac albums. I know you'll call that dumb or stupid or some other shit, and you can do that, sure, I'd love to see that. But I'D even go as far and say that it's a fact.

I had this convo with some members on here that you respect more than me. Not gonna name them but you wouldn't tell them that their opinion is shit if it came to a conversation like this.

Imo Kanye doesnt belong to that Top 5...However if i had to cut one out that would be Jay. To me he didnt make anything revolutionary and game changing...imo he only reproduced (well... but still) biggie's style. The amount of BIG's rhymes in Jays songs is rediculous. Eminem dropped Encore wich no doubt was his worst album but we all know that he was in a much darker place (he wasn't himself tbh).

Even if u compare them in this age it is obvious that Jay is more lazy at the same time that Em tries to adapt, experiment and improve.

You also said before you brought up where you come from that he got popular after his death with no mention of Europe.

You can see that all his albums were number one when he was alive with many singles in the top 10.

and those are great album numbers ? he only charted on 1# in english speaking countries that nobody really cares about like Ireland

99 in France, one of the biggest countries in Europe is a good position ? 16 in germany is good ?

^

Please... it's the best selling hip hop album of 1996 and 1996 is widely considered as the best year in hip hop history (2 2pac albums, Jay-Z's debut album, Outkast's classic album, Nas' it was written, The Score and so on...)

The album was also certified 5x Platinum in the United States after just 2 months :coffee:

and let's not start with the "pac's death is what made him sell albums" bullshit because Tupac is the second best hip hop seller in music history and dude hasn't released an official album in 18 years :coffee:

It went from he only got big when he died than you changed it to Europe and now it's non english speaking countries.... Make up your mind smh

Theres so many other factors you have to consider from that era but I think you're to dumb to understand.

I was talking about him becoming as big as he is today in Europe only after his death. This is a fact. You even posted some numbers that only prove that. He was never as big before he died in Europe, or atleast the majority of Europe. You can't deny this.
