Damn. 7 out of 10 tracks features Asher?...

Harldy any rapper has the ambition to do their own choruses now.

Em proves on EmShow that big, musical and powerful rap choruses are possible, n1kkas just need to be more creative. Chorus is such a huge part of a song... to just give it up every time like that... dam.

I've been waiting for his new album for a while now. G.R.I.N.D got me excited for the album when it was planned to be called "Is This Too Orange?".

Thoughts on Fast Life? I think it's alright, needed more of Asher tbh.

I'll peep this. Definitely have low expectations based on the songs I've already heard.

Asleep in the Bread Aisle is a really, really great album though.

So I listened to all the rest of the songs...I like Pot Of Gold and Tangerine Girl, and Fast Life sounds really good and peaceful but I'm disappointed by the lack of raps we've had so far. Pot Of Gold has the most rapping. If he had a longer verse on Tangerine Girl that would be my favorite Asher song ever (so far).

I'm going to check this out and I expect it to be very different from anything else out. Whether or not that turns out to be a good thing remains to be seen.

Wow. Are you fucking serious?

Asher loves to spit. That's his thing.

Listen to 'CANNON!!!' or 'Morning Do' off The Greenhouse Effect. That was just plain fucking ignorant.

That's lyk hiz werst song doe.

Asleep in the Bread Aisle is a good ass album. Has its own sound, feels consistent, fly rapping... it ticks way more boxes than 90% the shit I hear, just as an album, as a consistent body of work with the songs working together as one and he actually says quite a lot and balances concepts with viewpoints well. Yet it got totally shitted on mostly due to him being white and every critic comparing him to Eminem.

There's more substance and skill in a single verse on that album than Wayne spits in an entire one yet the garbage Wayne spews and puts to track gets hella more praised. Mind puke on wax.

I expect it's gonna be great but I'll have to wait until my school finishes to listen to it. Excited for this and Atmosphere's new album.
