Jay is only more relevant because in the industry, rappers are more revered than emcees. rappers make that party type shit, and emcees are like nas or em, more lyrical, thoughtful, etc. if it was the other way around, Nas would be more poppin than Jay

I've never liked Jay's flow and delivery tbh...
He always seems to be gasping. But I love production in Blueprint.
I'm not a fan of Illmatic too except for the lyrics.

Am I faggot or what?

What do you mean?

I think Jay has the better albums. Both of them have mediocre/good ones, but I think Jay has more 'classics'/great albums.

I disagree

Jay has 3 classics while Nas has two. I don't disagree with that.

Yet both of of Nas' classics are better than all of jay's

Jay besides his 'classics' only has like one good album. The other ones are all either straight trash or mediocre as fuck.

Vol1 is still somewhat bearable while 2 and 3 are straight up dumbed down mainstream music. Some hits, sure, but nothing good overall. Don't need to talk about dynasty lol .. most forgettable Jay album tbh

BP2 has too many songs .. if stripped down to like 10 it could have been good. This way it's average as fuck.

Kingdome come is straight shit except the intro.

American Gangster is the only good album that Jay dropped besides his classics.

BP3 lel

Mchg same shit like KC. One has better lyrics, the other one has better beats. Both shit.

Nas, while he has his obvious classics, has dropped a number of good to great projects after that. Stillmatic, Lost Tapes, God's son, Life is good etc .. he still has a few shitty and average albums.

Overall Nas has the better discography. ~

StayWideAwake wrote:I still think Nas' albums are far better than you're giving credit for. How on earth can you discredit Nas for "redundant" topics and say nothing about Jay? For the most part Jay has been talking about the same shit his whole career. God's Son, Stillmatic, Life is Good, HHID(just listened again last night and this album under appreciated), Lost Tapes...all great albums and nothing less. You keep trying to discredit the fact that Nas has so many great albums by saying they're repetitive but Jay has never been one to blow me away or be particularly interesting in subject matter. I think when it comes down to it it's just better production and better lyricism. I take better lyricism and Nas any day.

Hell no.

Aside from his classics, the rest of his albums tend to have a few gems, but the majority of them are a snooze fest.

I don't know why you're wasting your time, Trshady HATES Jay-Z... well, some other forums can't fuck with nas at all (nas is probably the most hated rapper on ktt and on some forums like THeColi)

Jay and Nas will always be seen as equal tbh, Nas is probably technically better but most people would say that jay has more classic albums than him.
