On the whoe English/American accent argument. It's undeniable that Rap's best and main accent is American, because it was founded in America. And imo American accents sound much cooler over any other accent whether English, Irish, Scottish, etc. I've always said that English people speak poorer English than most people, but I was wrong to generalise like that. It's just that modern English accents are so strong that they basically pronounce every second word wrong. The same could be said for some American accents, some Irish Accents, and definitely some Scottish accents
. Of course England invented the language, but that was a long long time ago, modern English has drastically changed, especially accents in urban areas. I used to never like English rappers, but after listening to Plan B, I became a big fan of his, and he oppened my eyes to see that English accents can sound great in hip-hop. This V-Double O guy, has an awesome talent, a cool look, great lyrics but is gonna tank because of his style. He should slow it up, and expose some of his lyrics to people, although that might be taking away his edge over other people, so it's all a matter of opinion I guess.P.s Of all the things that annoy me in rap, I think the English rappers shouting "Bo BO" annoys me the most.
