the rest of the world is actually open minded about hip hop, unlike 80% of americans who think hip hop is america's and america's only.

if by irrelevent you mean what there spitting about, that goes for everywere, some (well most) us rap is irrelevent for me, i dont slang coke, i dont got crips or blood but i still listen coz its good music.

uk rap is only relevant in the uk, but in europe and some places outside europe it has a large following because they are more open minded than america. saying "its just irrelevent" is a weak excuse. most rappers localise thereselves with were there from so its only truly relevent there, everywere else its just similarities they connect with.

mainly cause we don't need to look at other countries... we have our music we listen to it.. why should we go out of our way to go ahead and listen to some UK music? we shouldn't..

sure i probably shouldn't have judged it... but since Vibe is an American magazine, they're not going to go out of their way to introduce UK hip hop artist where 98% of Americans haven't heard of, just so they can get kicked out the first round.

if your a true hip hop fan you should take your time to listen to people that dont have hype or a big buedget, because you should be thinking that no matter who they are, there music could be dope and as a fan you should be open minded enough to give a listen.

i've listened to a few french and german rappers (cuz of chris) and i can say i've enjoyed their flow, i couldn't undertsand what they were saying cuz it was in another language but i enjoyed it...

when people talk about best rapper alive, almost everyone will mention an american rapper... now instead of complaining about not having UK rappers who will never win best rapper alive, why not complain about how the god of rap isn't in it.. i think that's 10x worse.
