I mean, it's kind of lame if a person listens to Em and refuses to listen to other rap (I know people who do this). But at the same time, I know people who say Em is wack and bump rappers I think are wack. Shit happens, fuck it.

It's only embarrassing if they start praising him as the best rapper ever or something similar. I don't have a problem at all with people who only listen to him but when they start talking about something they obviously don't know anything about (when they don't listen to anything else) it's just embarrassing.
