What's wrong with ecstacy? Psychedelics--and true MDMA is psychedelic--are very useful drugs for exploration of the human psyche (or soul, even) and definitely shouldn't be classed with the "hard drugs" which they seem to be classed with.

However, since they were rolls, it's much more likely that they had a mix of MDMA and methamphetamine.

Methamphetamine is indeed a different thing entirely.
