But why is that getting counted as don't retailers effectively buy copies currently anyway :confusion:

So that's just a different form of retailer.

That'd be like counting a few mil that Target got from the label to stock lmao. They're not people buying the album, it's a retailer / or a company doing so for business purposes.

It's not getting counted towards sales.

@Snake, nothing about Holy Grail is innovative either. Jay's rapping about fame and JT is just singing a verse and a hook. Doesnt mean it isnt amazing and SOTY so far. Unique doesnt equal good.

Never said that, lol. Someone was talking about "Holy Grail" like it WAS the fucking Holy Grail, and that TL was the only thing that stood against it.

Yo Snake you're way too much into the technical side of rapping. TL is an amazing song because:

- It has an outstanding beat
- Yelawolf's lyrics are simple, yet straightforward. He made a love song without sounding corny or dumb like on Radioactive.
- The emotion god damn it.
- That fucking hook holy shit
- His beard

sometimes simple lyrics are better than a robotic flow which makes the whole song sound forced and yeller knows it

Robotic flow? One of the best parts about Yela is his double-time flow, and his ability to change it up. Yela's flow on Tennessee Love was boring.

I agree with every single point you have. You can feel Yela's passion, and the hook is orgasmic. Love the beat, and he's very truthful. It's a true Yelawolf love song. However, since it IS Yela we're talking about, I expected some kind of creative twist to it. The man managed to make a song with Paul Wall good.

All your points are valid. They're just not enough for me to sit back and be like "This shit is better than his verse on Hustle, which was one basically giant metaphor with an awesome flow, rhyming, and structure, along with interesting content ie. his reasons for compromising on Radioactive".

Notice how I've never bashed Em's love songs. You know why? Because he KEEPS SHIT INTERESTING. Space Bound was an innocent love song with awesome rhyming and flow until the third verse. Love the Way You Lie was an in-depth look at domestic abuse disguised as a pop single. Drug Ballad was his love letter....to drugs. Seduction is him talking about fucking.....the rap game up. Em always puts a little twist into generic topics to make them interesting. Yela does nothing of the sort on TL. It's too straightforward....too....goddamn....BORING.

Tennessee Love is Yelawolf's love song. I understand why it was necessary, and I actually hope for something like this on Love Story, but I've heard so many love songs.

I've listened a couple of songs and it was pretty boring. It made me not wanna hear the whole thing, tbh.

I'm disappointed as hell. :coffee:

Jay Z's flow is garbage as usual. This would be a much better album if it was just an instrumental tbh. Jay Z sounds tired every time he says a couple lines. So weak.
