Jay Z's flow is garbage as usual. This would be a much better album if it was just an instrumental tbh. Jay Z sounds tired every time he says a couple lines. So weak.

I agree, the beats on this album are great its just Jay's rapping...it's the worst that it's ever been. He sounds lazy as fuck on these songs.

Not even gonna bother with this, I hate Jay on practically everything I've heard since The Black Album.

I've never seen him as a GOAT though, I really don't get it. BP is my favourite Jay album and I'd say it's an 8 or 8.5/10. I DON'T KNOW HOW it gets higher praise than MMLP.

Though i couldnt have done without jt. It seems its a trend now. jay and Alicia keys, snoop and perry, eminem and rihanna.50 & keys & levine as wellI guess this decade its gotta continue with jt's comeback.

Not bad considering he gave away a million. If he didnt do that and released Holy Grail a couple weeks ago it could have done 500k+

There is a new generation of listeners who really don't care about the "old Jay" and I'm pretty sure that the samsung deal boosted his sales

It was a smart marketing move tbh, it was a way to promote the "preview" of his album.

I think Jay-Z will hold, this album appeals to a much greater audience than Yeezus does. It will go gold within the month. Jay also has the tour coming up with JT, that'll help boost his sales. The smartest move would be to release Holy Grail as the first official single.

Yeah I can agree with this. Justin Timberlake has REALLY helped Jay a lot actually, Suit & Tie was huge and got people interested in Jay again. I wish JT would work with more rappers and more versatile ones too. Would love an Em collab, myself.

That would be so awkward to listen to, considering that Eminem used to bash on boy bands like Nsync so much back in his prime. Rhianna was one thing, but to hear him collaborate with an artist that he specifically used to bash on in his music and interviews would just be weird....

But I will add that JT has come a long way since his boy band days and the 20/20 experience was the first album that I've actually enjoyed from him. So it can work if done right.

I'd say it was awkward if he was working with the past JT. Not now though, I think it could work with the right concept and beat. He's pretty involved in the hip hop world so I wouldn't be entirely surprised if this did happen. Would give Em more attention if he released a single with JT singing a hook. And then you'll get the people who scream "sell out!" but Eminem has been a sell out lol. Most artists are.

I don't like JT or his music so that reason should be enough just like you dont like Wayne or Rihanna. Anyway it would be corny AF when EM already dissed him and his EX group several times in the past, now that is what I would call a sell out not his previous reasons people called EM a sellout.

I have no problem with Rihanna, I put her because she's a pop artist that Em worked with just as JT is. If he can collaborate with Rihanna and everything's fine I don't see why collaborating with JT is any different.
