Sure but it was a weak diss compared to disses. I've seen some battle MC's freestyle shit that hits harder. Not to discredit Kendrick here, he did his thing, but you're claiming the shit to be monumental.

That's what rappers do. Confidence. Name one solid MC without a tremendous amount of confidence.

Eminem put wack mainstream artists in the position like this over a decade ago. Was Kendrick just trying to show that he's capable of being better than mainstream MC's? I'm better than mainstream MC's. My neighbor's dog is better than mainstream MC's.

If you can't understand how the impact of this verse makes it amazing then you just aren't a fan of Hip-Hop. I'm not even going to try and explain it to you anymore. You'd be better off sticking to Tech N9ne's nonsensical bullshit.

Elision is still mad that kendrick killed his favorite rapper on his own track.

It made me lol when tech n9ne got bashed on hip hop dx for that fragile track, you had one Elision saying that tech murdered it and 700 other niggas saying that tech got murked on his own shit

What the fuck? I don't cum over your favorite artists new verse so I'm not a fan of the entire genre?

It's not nonsensical. And what does tech have to do with this?

Are you 12? Answer my post like an adult.
Shameek wrote:Elision is still mad that kendrick killed his favorite rapper on his own track
What does tech have to do with this verse? I didn't even mention the dude  And I like Kendrick. Fucking idiot.

edit: and kendrick didn't kill anybody on a tech track. the fuck are you talking about? which one?

there is one or 2 Elision on every forum  , someone who can't recognize a great track when he hears one or someone who goes against the grain for the sake of it

This track does not go down in greatness. I'm sorry. Nobody brought any type of "crazy flow" that you guys seem to keep mentioning, and while Kendrick's delivery was different than what he normally does, it wasn't anything notable. It was just slight yelling. As for the rhyme schemes? 5/10. Lyrics however were there, but it takes more than just that alone to carry you in today's hiphop.

Please tell them you're speaking about technicalities of the verse rather than what the verse represents.

Cuz I don't think they've figured that out yet.
Yes. If you go back to my original post I was (politely) asking what all the hype was about. Trying to figure out why I wasn't having my head explode to Kendrick's verse like everybody else was. Then I started getting attacked for some reason? This is ridiculous. I feel like I just wandered into Beiber's fan page.

All I'm asking is that someone break this down for me, because I'm apparently too stupid to see the greatness. I understand (thanks to class) that he's from detroit, and called himself the king of NY. that's fine. good diss I guess, but what else happened here?

wasn't anything notable? 5/10? kendrick IS carrying today's hip hop so he's obviously doing something right

if you look at the other threads on the internet, you'll see that everybody went crazy when they first heard the song because they thought that the verse was amazing.
and then other rappers tweeted about that "diss" song and it became an event.

Do you even know how to dissect a flow ? no you don't. you think it's just slow or fast rapping.

No he's not. What in the fuck? This is like a cult over here. How can 1 person be all of hiphop? Kendrick could never do a verse like Rittz, for example. ridiculous.

lolol he is the hottest rapper right now, and his album is slowly establishing itself as a classic.

Quit hating and go back to your usual tech n9ne threads.

What the fuck? No I don't. When during all my time/posts on this site, did I even come close to saying that?

This is an example of monstrous flows: http://youtu.be/JgUXvf77oGk?t=2m35s
