What the fuck? No I don't. When during all my time/posts on this site, did I even come close to saying that?

This is an example of monstrous flows: http://youtu.be/JgUXvf77oGk?t=2m35s

Rittz is great. I doubt Kendrick could rap like Rittz does.

That's not to say Rittz is better though. He does his thing, and does it well.

Kendrick's flow is probably one of the most complex flows we have heard in a long time, very long time. (since Eminem and Andre 3000 actually)

people who can't hear that should read that article:
http://www.rapanalysis.com/2012/11/rap- ... lamar.html
http://rapgenius.com/posts/1610-How-to- ... -freestyle

well I didn't need that shit to hear the complexity of his flow but it looks like some people need to :shifty:
and if you want, you can find the same about Eminem and Nas and other underground rappers :y:

Rapping fast =/= better flow

I agree with Elision and Geno. I understand what this means for hip-hop, I can appreciate it. Bringing some spark back into the genre. That's all well and good but that alone does NOT make the verse 'technically' (in the sense of rhymes, etc) good.

Although

This part is awesome

What is competition? I'm tryna raise the bar high
Who tryna jump and get it? You better off tryna skydive
Out the exit window of 5 G5’s with 5 grand
With your granddad as the pilot he drunk as fuck tryna land
With the hand full of arthritis and popping prosthetic leg
Bumpin Pac in the cockpit so the shit that pops in his head
Is an option of violence, someone heard the stewardess said
That your parachute is a latex condom hooked to a dread

Yeah the extended metaphor was pretty nice there, to be honest.

Kendrick's flow is undeniably one of the most technical flows in hip hop, either you want it or not.
Eminem has the best rhyme schemes and people don't even consider him as a top 5 rapper.

Kendrick's flows (from what I've heard) are far from complex. It doesn't even seem like he's going out of his way for them.
If I continued to list other rappers doing this today, would it help? Because after all this I feel like it wouldn't.
King Lance wrote:and if you want, you can find the same about Eminem and Nas and other underground rappers :y:
That's my point. Kendrick's flow (note I'm speaking strictly on flow) is nothing new here. There's not even diversity in it, dude rarely switches it up, and I've only ever seen him do it once mid-verse. Whereas there's a handful of artists who chomp through mindboggling flows 4 bars at a time and then move on to the next one. Yet somehow these artists are getting ignored by you guys?

Dude, link me one Kendrick verse that has "one of the most technical flows in hiphop". I need to see your definition of crazy flow.

and I don't want Kendrick to have more rhymes in his songs, his fans don't want that, nobody wants hi mto compromise the content of his songs.
Kendrick has one of the best flows and he is lyrical on his albums, it all that matters.

Maad city is often praised as one of the best songs of the last years and it contains some of the best transitions between different rhythmic levels, and the rhythm is one of the most important parts of a flow.

So this should be considered the greatest verse of all time right? http://youtu.be/9IJX3oFl1Nw?t=4m7s

Fuck outta here with this "kendrick has the most technical flow in the world" shit. He's an awesome artist but flows are far from his strong point.
