That's not unpopular at all homie.

DMX is ace.

Its just that in this era of make a hit every few weeks or your irrelevant is he not recognized.

Make no mistakes, DMX back in his day was always considered a huge deal. He had the presence of making everyone uncomfortable wherever he went because he was that good.

My contribution - new music sucks, bad, and some legends trying to fit in amongst new music is cringeworthy, you hear me Hov, Busta, Joe, Snoop?

Budden? You know he's only 30 and not exactly a legend anyway...

even so, he's never mentioned on anyone's top lists. When, in terms of mainstream artists, he should be on everyone's.

I'd say Jada should be much bigger than he ever got, as well. I love Jada.

Jada who? Jadakiss? Then I'm 'bout to get bitch-slapped for this one:

Jadakiss sounds like a mixture of a frog and Lil Wayne.

Fuck what others think man. People totally forgot about Eminem when he was gone, then even when he came back with average material they started putting back in their top 5 lists or whatever. That's just how the world is, they either have to have a hit now to be recognized, or pass away. If they're not on the news, they're nothing. DMX's legacy is fine.

As for Jada, and I fucking love Jada and the whole of LOX, but he has never made a great album. His albums have always been 4-5 songs short of a great/classic album, because he wastes it with stupid radio friendly songs that are clutching. Jada knows he's dope, so do people like Em, but no one just has the balls to tell him he's actually not top 5 because of his lack of consistency in an album...well except for 50, he was the one one who said that to him lol.

@FreeSpeech - I'm talkin Fat Joe homie.

@Dre - Lol you're killing me. You should never have been allowed in this thread bro', your opinions are making me tear my hair out.

Eminem

Eminem post TES is trash, yeah trash. I don't care how much multies or hidden rhymes he can fit into his music, when he does that stupid accent. Fact is his voice pisses me off and makes me want to punch a dead baby.

Lil Wayne in his prime makes more enjoyable music than current Eminem.

MMLP is Eminem's only true certified classic, that can be put up there with the likes of Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, OB4CL, Liquid Swords, you get the gist. His other two albums are great, but have too many skippable tracks for me I mean "Cum on everybody?"

Eminem being white helped him, skyrocket as mainstream figurehead, and a lot of his teeny boppers only listen to him cause of how marketable his image is. Rather than appreciating his skills on the mic, they probably listen to him cause "Oh look it's not another ignorant n/gger, talking about cars, clothes, hos and all that other shit. That only n/ggers do."

Kanye West

MBDTF is a true modern classic if there ever was one.

Kanye can be a pretty decent mc at times, well he doesn't drop hot 16s, but he makes enjoyable songs. And that's all that really matters in the long run.

I have a lot more, but that's all I can think of for now.

Tupac is the most overrated rapper ever.

I agree 100% with this. Also...

BP3 is my fav Jay-Z album
Encore=Relapse and Recovery>SSLP

Have you ever listened to Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, The Black Album, Vol. 1, 2 & 3, fuck it every Jay-Z album to say that?

And I think it's a fact that SSLP > Encore :whistle:

I think both Tupac and Biggie are way overrated by the majority. Overall I don't think they'd deserve to be in a top 5. Probably even top 10. I've also said this since long as I can remember.

Kid Cudi's music sucks major dick.
Wiz Khalifa is so average that he sucks.
Illmatic is boring.
Nas is crazy talented but I can't get into most of his music.
