 troll galore, the same guy who made threads such "Does anyone like too fart on their fingertips and sniff it?" & "Wtf when you got a headache why is it so hard to masturbate?" is calling me stupid.

Again, his shit is hot TODAY. Over half of his fanbase is females. Nothing he puts out is good enough in quality to keep him in the most well known rappers 10 years from now.
With that said i'm done replying to the troll.

The same retards that say Wayne is the GOAT are those who say C1 & C2 are classics. That doesn't really mean much now does it?

C1 is average and C2 is good but nowhere near a classic.

How good albums are or not doesn't matter, how good rappers are doesn't matter. That is the exact point im trying to get across. Letting your opinion override logic and stating your opinion as "everyone thinks the same as me" when in fact hes in a GREAT minority and surely knows it if he isn't retarded and doesn't live in the mountains is whats important. The opinion of MANY people = why a rapper is remembered. Lil Wayne and 50 Cent are perceived as greatness by millions of people! This is whats important in this topic. They will be remembered for fuck sake...

Alright fuck it i'll reply to your little retarded points
Show me one fucking hip hop head with an opinion that matters who considers C1 & C2 as "classics". Exactly what MC said C1 was average C2 was good. Neither are classics & none of his mixtapes are either. I'm not saying Wayne hasn't made good songs i'm saying the best songs he has made are simply good songs he hasn't made any great songs or great albums to be remembered as an actual legend.
GRODT is fucking overrated by some of you Shady Record dick riding motherfuckers. Power Of The Dollar was a better album if you're trying to defend 50 atleast use that. GRODT is praised because of the Dre beats not his mostly shitty lyricism. Also 50 Cent is already being forgotten, every year he's less & less known wait till 2020. See how many fucking people remember him then.
If you're hot right now that's one thing, but who the fuck is remembered 10-20 years after they're popular that doesn't have good music (besides people like Vanilla Ice who are only remembered because of how bad they are) The audience that Wayne & 50 appeal to move on to the next big thing as soon as it becomes popular leaving the old behind in the dirt.

:facepalm If you're judging the biggest rappers ever based on talent, dudes like Rakim and Lupe would be easily there.

THIS ISN'T BASED OFF TALENT.

Wayne makes very listenable music that will stick around. Do you honestly think in 20 years someone will hear C2 and say "WTF is this shit?" No, it will still sound good then. Take the Beach Boys: they made obnoxious (to me) radio hits, were phony (they couldn't surf) and had no real amazing musical talent. They are still played constantly.

Then tell me, what musical act that was talentless is still praised today (not remembered but praised since some people are remembered for being wack)
For the record i've never even heard of the Beach Boys let alone heard any of their music.
Wayne & 50 appeal mostly to the radio audience. The most forgettable, short minded motherfuckers alive.

Can i ask where you are from? Im guessing you're from outside the US and you only visit boards and blogs full of Europeans? Im sick of talking about Wayne especially when there is a massive gap in your knowledge, especially how people view his mixtapes, Wayne is one of the few rappers that actually kept relevent and blew himself up from mixtapes and not utilising radio or marketing as you suggest which is why he has developed a solid fanbase, and every Hip Hop head was on the Carter 2 train when it came out, and even if 50 is not on the charts he will never be forgotten, hes a solid rapper/artists and a huge part of alot of peoples childhood when it comes to music and people dont forget.

Killahbee

I don't know if he considers it a classic, but he must have a high opinion to put it on a list wit these albums

Or if you want another guy that think somewhat highly of C2 than this guy, he gave it a 3.5/5 which is pretty high. Maybe a personal classic.

I don't even know why I went through the trouble of defending Wayne though, tbh. I do believe though that Wayne and 50 will probably fade into obscurity in the near future (50's already fading). They were stars when they were hot, but they have trouble adapting with the times. Something Eminem and Jay overcame.

@CokeBottle I live in California you fucking retard.
Wayne is one of the few rappers that actually kept relevent and blew himself up from mixtapes and not utilising radio or marketing as you suggest which is why he has developed a solid fanbase, and every Hip Hop head was on the Carter 2 train when it came out, and even if 50 is not on the charts he will never be forgotten, hes a solid rapper/artists and a huge part of alot of peoples childhood when it comes to music and people dont forget.

GET THE FUCK OUT, didn't utilize the radio? really REALLY?
C1 had Go DJ, C2 had Fireman. Those were songs made for the fucking radio.
He may have been a good artist back then but I highly doubt he was a "huge part of peoples childhood"
Yeah theres going to be a few people who remember him, every artist has those few die hard fans. However to the general public he's going to be some unknown has been in 5-10 years.
Why are you dick riding him so hard anyways? You keep telling me "if you don't like him thats one thing but don't let your opinion get in the way of facts" yet that's EXACTLY what you're doing. If you're a fan then fine, rep him to the death for all I fucking care but don't try fooling yourself & everyone else into thinking he's going to have any shred of relevance in 10 years time.

@dead prez I'll give you that, some people may have it down as a personal classic. However as an overall agreed upon classic like Illmatic or 36 Chambers that shit doesn't hold a candle & alot of people would laugh if someone mentioned Lil Wayne & classic in the same sentance.

Sigh, bro ive tried to take a step back from the rappers vs rappers, albums vs albums, taking my own opinions out of the equation and talk from the point of view that these two rappers have many die hard fans which is completely different from a Nelly fan or 'Radio Fan' but you just will not let your dislike for them go and fill in your gaps of knowledge with ignorance. You don't want them to have a shred of relevance in 10 years time, and so thats the way its going to be, the millions/100'000s die hards that feel otherwise don't even come into it do they? :coffee:

The fact that you don't know the Beach Boys and live in Cali is frankly mind blowing. They have the most Top 40 songs (30 some?) of any American band. They rivaled the Beatles in popularity, and their whole image was based on a surfing gimmick. They've sold over 100 million records, more than any rapper.

I'm stating what I see happening, I see no difference between Lil Wayne & the likes of Nelly, Ja Rule & Master P. Hot shit at the time, garbage later. If Wayne is still relevant in 10 years i'll be proven wrong but from the kind of music he makes & how almost everyone who isn't a radio listener regards him as trash I just don't see him staying relevant. Has nothing to do with my dislike, I'm not a huge fan of Pac, Biggie or Jay Z but they're going to be relevant in 10 years Wayne isn't.

Well I live in the Bay Area in a ghetto city not one of those rich white areas if that helps, but seriously NO ONE mentions the Beach Boys. I'm sure they have their own little group of die hard fans in retirement homes across America & all but I have no idea who they are.

You realize underground/non mainstream fans are the vast minority don't you? And Master P, Nelly, and Ja each only had about 5 years of huge popularity (you can't judge off just album sales, selling 500,00 in the 90s was no where near as impressive as it is today).

Not really, I'd still think you'd have at least heard of them. They're seriously just a lil below the Beatles and Elvis and whatnot. They still sell millions, their 2003 compilation album is 2xmulti platinum according to RIAA.
