I like how lots of people like to pinpoint Hopsin as being nothing but a carbon copy of Eminem, when Eminem took a lot from rappers like Redman, Chino Xl, (supposedly) Cage, Big L, Nas/Az (Infinite Era), etc.

Not to mention Eminem isn't a pioneer in ANY aspect, everything he did was done before albeit, perhaps not as good, but he didn't start this image that many associate him with.

Nobody said Eminem is a pioneer or that he wasn't inspired by anyone else. It is very easy to listen to his songs without thinking of the likes of Redman and Big L but can you honestly listen to Raw without hearing Eminem at the same time?

He is a decent rapper but I cringe every time I hear him claim he is crazy and has a hard life. Dude you're 24-25, live with your mom and drive around in her big fucking car. Dry your eyes.

You're right, I was thinking more in general, Eminem did take bits and pieces from other rappers and gave his own unique spin on it, I guess. Point of that post was he's still inspired by plenty others and wasn't the first to start that celebrity bashing/self deprecating humor, that he's reknowned for.

I don't even really like Hopsin either and find him really corny, so I'm not going to defend him.

I still like Hopsin, but I haven't really listened to him in a while. I am excited for his Tech song though. It'll be cool to hear him on a bigger track like that.

This. But any time I see him do those tiny chat things I go on it. His favorite eminem song is rock bottom and he said he dnt like Tyler too much and said he hated his last album. He dnt like cudi either. Just thought I'd share that :smoking:

I wouldn't say I'm bored of him as I don't listen to him often enough to be bored yet.

When I do listen I'll just play either album through and through about ten times. I'm an obsessive type listener, if I'm in to an artist I want all their stuff and I listen to everything all the time. Because, if I didn't feel like doing that with their material, I wouldn't be listening in the first place.

I never listen to people for a song or two, they have to be striking to me...

But, no am not bored yet. Well, I guess you could say I'm bored of his first two albums as I'm not currently listening to them, for time being. But, I think he's a major talent and I'm eager for his next album.
