I've heard all his Albums i own some of them, heard the Album he Produced for Common, heard Watch The Throne. Pretty much heard majority of his work.

Underrated. People tend to belittle his rapping skills but everything is not about rhyming. He's had the best songwriting skills ever since 2004, and his delivery is perfect. His rapping skills are extremely well-balanced and he's extremely well-rounded as an artist, and to me that's better than forcing/excelling in just one department. He makes excellent albums and is very consistent, and the abilities needed for that are elements that are part of rapping skills.

I don't think he's overrated at all. He deserves the attention he gets because his performances are great.

You don't have to be a Kanye West fan to respect him. The guy is an amazing producer.
Personally, I think he's underrated as an overall artist, but he's also overrated for his rap skills. When I hear the name "Kanye West" I think beats not rhymes.
