I use the be sure that Hopsin was going to be a big one. but since the guy is already 28 and he isn't bringing his album soon, my hopes have disappear..
I'll judge after the album tho but seeing he probably lost data ( >>> https://www.facebook.com/hellohopsin/po ... 2766374854 ) I doubt his album will come < 2014 medio

Kendrick Lamar, loved section 80, expected better from GKMC, maybe just not my type of style.
J. Cole, I know he can do much better, will judge after born sinner ( a bit too monotone for me, the same I got with Lupe and Nas)
Drake, he's a good artist, don't bump his song, just a couple if I'm in that type of "mood"
Big Krit, he is a very good rapper, but don't know he is just not the future of hip hop, I think he will stay on the background..

^ I agree with viJilance, Hip Hop savior needs yet to arise..
HOLD UP WAIT A MINUTE, your career ain't shit unless you got some kendrick in it.

Why be a king when you can be a god.

On a bigger scale I agree too... like if those suppose to be certain for a future all time greats.
But in general all those who were mentioned in your post apply as the future of hip-hop to a degree & are ones that definitely will get & carry the torch for quite some time in the meantime.
Again... it isn't sure any of them is gonna touch the all time greats but some of 'em at least have the potential to be honest.

Are you retarded? He looks normal. Plus, his music isn't exactly made for radio listening people. Who expected Thrift Shop would be this big? Listen to Jimmy Iovine. Shit, I remember before Thrift Shop was big, everyone loved him and said he's the future and that he'll eventually get big.

He's pretty good. Also a one hit wonder lol, right. He has two platinum singles already, and an album that will eventually go platinum (which is already more than most rappers can achieve nowadays.)

He's still selling 20 000 copies weekly and he almost reached 800 000 copies sold. That's far from a one hit wonder if you ask me. Just because someone is popular doesn't make him shit. The Heist is a solid album.

A few years would be somewhere deep into his second album... K.Dot could easily have good a decade in front of him so you're right to put him aside. :y:

Game's been heavy for like a decade or so even though he lost his touch right after he was outta Aftermath/G-unit & most of the stuff he's done after that was average or worse so like I said I easily see K.Dot topping that esp. as he has a whole relevant crew along him.

I agree with Trimss too... Macklemore has done fucking great. :worship:

Well it doesn't even matter if he was a transsexual to be honest... the point is he's done something on himself that nearly all of the rappers on the big labels can't do nowadays. Dude took over, that's it & that's all.

It's almost 2014 and Kendrick has been relevant since 2011, every album is being compared to gkmc, I just don't see him falling off anytime soon tbh.
it took a few minutes to see a lot of "gkmc vs born sinner" threads lmao: http://www.kanyetothe.com/forum/index.p ... c=466570.0

Krit is almost in the same position imo but I can see other rappers carrying the torch with them.

Something like Kendrick, Krit, Yelawolf, bada$$, probably cole too

The music isn't the full package nowadays

Yeah... Kendrick is here to stay, no doubt about it.
I like Badass a lot too & I expect a lot from him... let us just see how hard he's gonna hit when he drops his official album though.
Like I said earlier I don't expect a lot from Yela on the commercial front but I do expect him to deliver at least two classics so to some degree we can count him in.
Krit & Cole are dope so I hope they'll stay consistent... I am not sure if Cole's album is gonna splash big or leave it's mark though. I think it kinda hit below expectations.

It's sad for Cole but I definitely don't see him in that category, Born Sinner isn't getting the praise he was sure it was going to get.
