I think this is largely a matter of semantics. But when I say I'm feminist I mean equal rights - not favoring women in particular or bashing masculinity.

Agreed, I am in no way a feminist (in fact "modern feminism" annoys me greatly) but the women bashing simply gets annoying to listen to. One of the reasons Lupe is by far my favourite.
