he's been making music with his brother for a while, but he started catching attention around 2008 after posting some insane freestyles in his car/apartment on youtube, and he just sorta grew from there. his album scrublife caught the attention of def jam and he was signed to them for a little while but he's not with them any more, he just put out a new project though so i think he's getting back on his feet. it made me really happy to see that he got a spot on this cypher, that's huge.
