i was told that if you let bad music grow on you, your taste of music will turn into bad, and you won't appreciate the real good music.

Word.

Afrer giving the album my time yesterday, and actually listening to his lyrics, it's a pretty sick album. It's no Documentary or anything, but it's still pretty sick if you appreciate his lyrics and the thoughts he puts into his songs. Other than that though, I'm really dissapointed with the production still. The beats could've been better, but whatever, he probably spent most of his money on his featuring artist's, which I feel he could've done without, lol.

My favourite new tracks are:
LAX Files (kind of, I just like his flow, he switched it up a bit)
State of Emergency
Money (although the sample was kind of annoying, Game killed those verses)
Cali Sunshine (it grew on me)
Let Us Live
Angel (smooth beat, Game's flow was dope, and Common was pretty cool)
Never Can Say Goodbye
Former Rap God

I usually DL ablums to see if they're good before i buy em, but this one i didn't. Game always brings his A game. Now that he's done wit all the beef bull shit, hes focused on the music. This is deff the best album of 2008 so far. I skipped class this morning just so I could drive out to Target and buy this album. That MY LIFE joint is sick. This album kicks the Carter III ass!

Hes been sayin that it's his last album, but I don't believe that. He is deff the definition of HIP HOP.

im very staistfied w/ this album, at first i wasnt even going to give it a try after seeing the tracklist and seeing the feats. but the weird thing that pushed me to listen to this was all the reviews everyone here was giving, some were praising the album some were choppin' it down bcuz of the production so i gave it a listen...and im very staisfied like i said in the begining, the album pretty much flowed the right way and the feats werent distracting and since everyone was complaining about the production, i paid close attention to that, and i cant complain about it. so the question for me is, am i gonna buy it in stores? well, yeah...but not right now bcuz i dont have the cash to buy cd's right now, but if i had more money to buy cd's then i would no doubt. Game pretty much stepped it up on this one, but if he says this is last album(rumors rumors), i would highly doubt it, though this album is really good i wouldnt go off to retirement w/ this, LAX is his next level album...maybe 2 more albums that'll push him legandary status
