I actually forgot Kanye West's The College Dropout. No matter how much I didn't like Kanye before, when I heard this album my views changed. The album is sooo good, and I mean it. The production is way too good.

WORD. I just copped the album yesterday and the beat for All Falls Down is SO dope. Kanye West, in my opinion, is much more my style than Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre's new beats are way overrated.

Yeah, Kanye is ranked amongst my favorite producers now. And you're right about Dr. Dre, I sorta think the same. I'm just hoping for his best to be on Detox (if it ever comes out) which they will be.

Kanye was always my favorite from the day I heard his "Lucifer" beat. Then, I re-listened to the Blueprint by Jay-Z and some of his works on other albums.

Actually, in fact, I think Dr. Dre was always a little overrated. The beats on the Chronic, dope as they are, were a little repetitive. He always utilized the same high synths, funk, and heavy snares. Sounds too monotonous at times, but still classic album. (barely) And 2001 was completely overrated at times... His gangster themes get old occasionally.

People are sleeping on Havoc, Pete Rock, and RZA.

Detox better come out. :worship:
