The best rapper alive, to me, right now, must be Lupe Fiasco. With just two albums, that I already consider classic albums, he has already elevated himself to a plateau where great emcees such as Lupe himself reside.

Of course, this is just opinion, however I consider Lupe Fiasco one of the greats. Would love to see him and Eminem collab one day. I doubt they would though.

My favourite rapper out right now is Joe Budden, he might reach that level of the best out right now if his next album proves him worthy. And I have faith, I really believe that The Great Escape is going to be one hell of a dope album.

Nas, to me, fell off. However, if Distant Relatives is as good as Strong Will Continues is, then he might manage to redeem his spot as best rapper alive.

And, if you guys are wondering why I don't consider Eminem as the best rapper out right now. That's because his songs don't bear any meaning anymore. His flow might be eargasmic, but still, to me, a rapper has to be able to project a certain messages in a portion of his work. That is something that Eminem is lacking. Unless Relapse II proves me wrong, then he might get his spot back.

No, you're most definitely ignorant, because you're basing your opinion on ignorance.

If you haven't listened to other rappers, you are ignorant to their skill. This doesn't make you unintelligent, this doesn't even mean that you're wrong; however, you are most definitely ignorant.

There's nothing wrong with it, and it can be easily corrected. Just listen to more rap. You may find that you still believe Eminem is the best, and your opinion will carry more weight.


For me, as far as the best alive goes...I can't say.

I don't get as much out of rap anymore, so it's hard for me to judge.

In my opinion, at the moment it's Eminem. However, I still feel artists such as Masta Ace, Royce, Talib Kweli & Raekwon are pretty close. But my view changes all the time.
