You guys are a bunch of hasty homos tbh. I bet if you had heard unfinished versions of songs that you love you would be "disappointed" by most of them. Haven't even heard the freakin' hook yet. Hold your damn horses.
Caution to the wind, complete freedom. Look at these rappers, how I treat 'em, so why the fuck would I join 'em when I beat 'em?

I was even excited for this or Detox so it's as bad as I expected.

Both verses are shocking.

Did Jay ghostwrite Dre's verse?

All albums are made with different purposes. I don't think Dre wants to change the world with his lyrical abilities (or his ghostwriters).

I personally don't pay much attention to what a guy like Kanye West says in his music since his producing is so sharp.

I appreciate that, but I listen to rap/hip-hop for lyrical ability mostly so without that it's kinda pointless (unless the beat is seriously banging).

The credit Dre gets is ridiculous. So insanely overrated. People act like he's the second coming of Mozart. And now everybody's surprised by this.

Yeah it's going to be another album about weed and guns, full of Doctor puns. Despite him living in a studio for the past 50 years. What do you expect.

Em's still do mind-blowing shit with his art, I'm not going to be blown away just because Dre's beats are crisp. He tries nothing new. Most overrated artist of the 30 years bar none.

@ Eminembase

And all the super producers who praise him are just stupid :y: There's nothing better when someone who has NEVER studied music theory or anything yells about how bad/overrated some people might be at something as if it is a fact. Stop being so close-minded and make some researches into why people believe he is one of the best.

When so many people measures their album against his he gotta have some talent.

^ I know he's one of the best producers you fucking idiot. I never denied that once.

Notice I said one of the most ovverated ARTISTS. He makes great beats, we get it. So fucking what, you need more than that to be as absolutely cock-sucked as he is.

He just makes cliche' gangsta cheese, other people write his lyrics and on Detox about 40 other producers contributed. Yet it still gets called a Dre solo project. He doesn't write any of the songs himself, least he could do is produce everything himself. Overrated as fuck.

Just because he was one of the pioneers. But reality is there are better producers than him. That are more innovative, do more impressive things, push the limits further than he does. He's just so praised because he brought a certain style into rap when it was expanding. Get real.

You do realize than Eminem is probably going to write verses for Dre on Detox that involve weed and/or guns, right?
