J-Cole and B.o.B are good, and they certainly weren't influenced by Lil Wayne :coffee:
Lol Yeah add Cudi..

theres no way they where influenced by wayne.. completely different style an all.

Lol you serious, do you want me to link you to the videos of B.O.B & Cudi saying there partly influenced by wayne? just because someone has a different style doesn't mean they cannot be influenced by someone drake and wayne are different music types but yet drake is heavily influenced by wayne, 50 raps and act's way different then eminem but yet he is heavily influenced by eminem. Half of the stuff y'all are saying is compete and utter bullshit so that's why im done.

Wayne DID change the game. But not for the better, for the worse. As dude said, Kanye played a big ass role in the last 5 years to. Perfect example would be, Eminem saying Wayne is one of the greatest in the game. Before Rap turned as poppy as it is now, Eminem would have NEVER said such thing, if anything he would have dissed him. Just look at Eminem now, he had to change his style of beats, his features, all because rappers like Wayne, Kanye and overall the south took over the Rap scene for quiet awhile and created a certain sound with it that all new rap albums have to have something similar in order to sell as good. Now rap albums sound more pop than rap, all thanks to these dudes. You got all these pop fucking singers on every hook, before it used to be RNB singers, now its fucking POP singers on hooks. With futuristic-like beats, more commercial than ever. You'd have to be fucking blind if you think the game didn't change.

No you didn't. You said a bunch of rappers think Wayne is good.

Let me explain to you the definition of change, since you're so far up Wayne's ass you can't reach the dictionary..

In order for something to change, it has to have a previous state, and a new state.

Your claim is that the definition of change is apparently:

"KRS-One says something is good..That means it changed."

What Xray is saying is partially true, except for that Wayne brought those changes. Wayne changed WITH those changes as they happened, he didn't bring them about.

No, i agree that wayne has changed the game, weather people like to admit it or not, no one was doing out of rap genre tracks (mostly) in hip hop until kanye and wayne started the whole moment. if you go back into 2003 and then compare it to today's hip hop sense, it's undoubtedly different and who has had the major impact on that? wayne & kanye. I swear some of eminem fans are just :facepalm

No. Tha Carter 2 was straight spitting.. Then the bubble gum shit took over, and Wayne was like, "Shit, I better follow this movement or I'm gonna start losing sales" and so he did.. Then Kanye did 808's and Wayne was like "Shit, he sold well, I think I should try to do something different like he did" and so he did.

He's a sheep, and Rebirth was a failure anyway, whether it went gold quick or not.

Yeah but if you had to pick the 2 biggest stooges that helped change rap (commercially), I'd definitely have Wayne as first and Kanye second, you gotta admit they were the biggest influence to cause the change.
