Do you listen to any battle rapper's music Amadeo?

If you don't, I recommend Soul Khan, Cruger and Dumbfoundead.

I'll check that out I like unan.

That would be OK, yeah I agree bender is way past him. I think there are other battles bender should do
But if he takes a break and needs a stepping stone to get his place back that'd be alright.

And yeah some flight distance tracks are nice actually

You should give Soul Khan a go.

And yeah, I like The Lazy EP. Don't really like his earlier Rhyme Asylum-esque stuff though.

I don't think there will ever be a more satisfying moment in battle rap than when Soul Khan owned PooRich after being taunted for choking.

DNA thinks Anecdote's name is Antidote...so he's going to write a hundred puns using the wrong name.

And you know how funny/awesome Anecdote can be.

Lmao

Can you link a couple of your favorite battles? I've watched heaps since CrashBand posted a whole bunch but I seem to enjoy older battlers that aren't really around anymore. So any recent battles that are good would be cool.

I thought loe vs sketch was boring, thought sketch won but loe is doing bigger things soon so he got the win.

Shotty vs ness wasn't great either, ness had a few nice lines but chocked and is soooooo boring.
Shortly was alright, should a got the win but supposedly the judges could t hear him and lost.

"I'll-leave-ya Aaliyah when I Ali-ya" thought that was dope

I recommend watching a lot of The Saurus’s early freestyle battles in Scribble Jam, and his 2-on-2 battles with Illmaculate in WRC ‘06/’07.

Also, Justice’s early freestyle battles.

That Benjamin Button flip was the best thing I've ever seen. So glad the dude is an Aussie haha :y:

His Scribble Jam battles are amazing too. He was really good against Thesaurus. " I'm ill too. Your name's the saurus but your face looks like the meteor that killed you." " You've got some wit in you but You're a pain in the arse to listen to. You need to stop and just settle cos you look like you're about to fucking pop a blood vessel"

He's the best battle rapper I have seen tbh

Justice? Nah

Anyone got a battle with bars where the audience goes nuts a lot.

Random question I know

How can you say he's not the best battle rapper that I have seen? He's better than thesaurus anyway.

He smashed scribble jam like it was nothing. I'm guessing he didn't really know the opponents and was literally freestyling his insults off the top. Considering how hard hitting they were that's really impressive.

^Brilliant. He's got so many good lines
"I got this style you ain't used to buddy, what do you think girls want, cute and cuddly... or fuckin' huge and ugly?"

All his '05 Scribble Jam battles:

Amadeo wrote:That was a brilliant rebuttal.

One underrated rebuttal from that battle:

I am the world rap champ, and this faggot never made it there
The only great affair you've had is with his facial hair

The first line is a response to something Justice said mere seconds before, and he somehow made it all rhyme smoothly with the second line (responding to Justice's girlfriend insult).

How about 360's "I know why Madness is pissed off/He can't figure out how to eat the spam in his inbox" line after Madness had said he looks like the "Microsoft Word paperclip that asks shit?"

Have we mentioned Justice's "day late" flip ("I'm comin' clearin' it, yeah I'm a day late.. That's the reason for your fuckin' mother's period!")? That was pretty awesome considering how well the crowd responded to thesaurus' "day late" punch.

That's what Justice does so well, he takes his opponent's hardest hitting line and totally flips it on them ("I'm about to start busting the words, this is America and here justice is served" --> "It's all good, I'll hit this guy with a 4 wood.. Justice is served? Just look at George Bush!") That was a brilliant response.
