Those aren't really underrated.

But yeah, Justice is the best freestyler I've seen.

Freestyling multis is such hard work. My theory is, that's the reason why multi rappers aren't that great at freestyling - Eminem and Hopsin spring to mind.

Even when I try, I naturally try to use multis, which is obviously significantly harder.

I just meant SliK's examples. I should've used an arrow.

Kid Twist has an interesting take an rebuttals and thinks they are all overrated. He feels it's arbitrary in a written battle league to rate a rebuttal as good, just because it's off the top.

i.e. A weak off the dome insult should not be used by rappers, or be rated higher than an ordinary weak insult, simply because it's off the dome.

The Saurus has always had lines like that where I'm shocked at how quickly he came up with a connection.

That battle with Franco, for example.

Franco accused him of "looking for which dude's dick to suck" and many bars later finished with saying, "when you know you went home and wrote all those lines." The Saurus immediately pounced, with "Wrote all those lines? This is not written stuff/And your lips are gonna find the dick to suck."

He almost had to have fallen into that, but it's still shocking to me when something like that happens.

On the other hand, I don't really rate Justice's "George Bush" flip too highly. First of all, what's he really trying to say? George Bush is an example of how justice isn't served in America, because he was a bad President? Moreover, it's obvious Justice has a bunch of "justice is served" flips stored away, as he's heard it multiple times. In an Australian battle, the flip was "he serves justice because he raps like Judge Judy." So he probably premeditated that one, expecting someone to do that at Scribble, since it's one of the first things you think of when you learn his rap name. I'm much more impressed with what he did with The Saurus's Kylie Minogue reference.

^Well George Bush is a corrupt leader who invaded a country for oil, that is not serving justice. In 05 it is particularly relevant since Iraq was invaded in '03 and Bush was still in power.

In the battle with Justice + 360 vs Madness + the saurus when Saurus said "I'm making a living from what you're too afraid to do" and justice comes back with "before the saurus said I haven't been battling in years, that means you think battling is an actual career. What a dickhead, the biggest faggot that you'll hear of... His daughter's first words were "daddy get a real job"

Admittedly, I'm Stanning pretty hard at the moment.

Actually bush wanted to change their society but that's a whole other sorry I won't comment on.

But I'm surprised twist would say that, as he's known for rebuttals.... Either way Justice's period flip on saurus was terrible. I knew where he was trying to go with it, and if he worded it right it may have been OK. But reminded me of DNA trying to spit something clever.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but neither does The saurus' original "day late" joke cos in Australia we're a day early.

Justice should have said "that's the reason your mother missed her period", perhaps.

It's easy to sit here at the computer and critique his verse after the fact, but in the heat of the moment it wouldn't be so easy. I can't freestyle for shit, especially not multis. He did really well.

Why don't you like him Spyder?

He feels some of his rebuttals, which weren't actually that good were overrated.

There was a battle where he got called Ross from friends. And his rebuttal was "set-up rhyme/
If I'm ross, you're his pet monkey/".

The rhyming wasn't impressive and the insult of being a pet monkey wasn't really relevant. But it got a huge reaction because it was off the dome.

well of course, but he actually does rebuttals nice. like:

"you can call me Adam, cause every eve i give his bitch a bone." something like that, against Nils.

and i dont not like Justice, i just dont think hes the best out in written or freestyle and think that flip was overrated.
i did love that Ben Button line though.

@Amadeo
"im a day late, and thats the reason for your fuckin mothers period."

um, so because hes late his mother is too... he said nothing about fucking his mother, which would have connected the two.
OR had he said something like. "Im a day late? just like your mothers period."

but of course we all know, one day late in a menstrual cycle means nothing. but thats getting annoyingly technical lol

He didn't specify that it was about Iraq. He just mentioned Bush because every rapper leans to the left and it's basically a requirement for them to hate Bush, so it was some sort of vague reference to him not serving justice in general.

Face palm all you want, he flat out lied about WMDs to invade Iraq. You think this 16 year old from Australia knows the political preference of American rappers? lol...

Get a clue before you critique a battle.

Yeah an Eminem fan that heard songs that says "no more blood for oil" so how exactly was my earlier point face palm worthy?

It doesn't matter how old he is. I guarantee a Melbourne MC wouldn't know who Glen Beck is, or Bill O'Reilly. You guys are delusional if you think Australia is that obsessed with American culture. He obviously meant George Bush was a terrible president and under his rule justice isn't served. No doubt. I mean, is that really a difficult concept for you to grasp?

The disagreement was on whether or not it was a good rebuttle and we are still in disagreement on that so why don't you let EminemInsider speak for himself? He was saying it was a vague reference and my argument was that it isn't a vague reference because it was current events (he didn't need to know a rappers political preference AT ALL. IT IS IRRELEVENT). The Iraq war was current events and world news at the time.

That wa the debate until you derailed it lmao. I know you and EminemInsider are joined at the cock but fuck off.

First of all, I don't think you understand how Democracy works. The President doesn't have the power to declare war. The President can't do anything without congressional approval.

Secondly, the idea that the US "invaded Iraq for oil" is laughable. It's the kind of BS you hear from the idiots who believe in the Illuminati and think 9/11 was an inside job. People should really take a look at our gas prices before they make that hilarious claim.

They invaded Iraq because our country is run by idiots who were obsessed with the "war on terror" at the time. It wasn't just Bush, it was congress as a whole. It's just a lot easier for the average idiot to blame it all on the President. But the United States is not run as a dictatorship.

It's just consistently run by people who love bombing the shit out of your brown people.
