nobody on this site is gonna say you're not arrogant.

No. If somebody posts criticial reviews as proof of something's worth, therefore not making statements themselves to back-up the claim (which is what I thought happened) - that's not thinking for yourself, so to say 'think for yourself' in response to that, is a totally normal response.

Definition of arrogant is:

"Having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities"

Saying 'think for yourself' in response to somebody posting somebody else's thoughts as evidence of something has nothing to do with what I think of myself, it's a response to something very basic.

If you see someone punch a stranger for what you believe is no reason, do you think it's arrogant to say "wow man, chill out"... ? which is similar to my response. It's a "lol... why do that" kind of response, if you think that's arrogance, you have a very strange definition of it that's not in accordance to how the word is typically defined in language, which means you choose to define words how you see fit. Now that actually is arrogance. So once again, no.

And actually I'm sure quite a few would, those that actually know me here. Abram may for example; you won't because you don't actually know me... you've just taken a very normal response and the fact I 'write a lot' (yeah because... writing a lot is so arrogant...) and judged (the very thing you're apparently criticizing me for). Fool.

I'm not getting into this with you because it really doesn't matter but the fact is I know you as well as Abram does, provided you don't PM each other etc. You post on a forum, I know your forum persona.I know you about as well as a forum member could know another forum member. I have also seen your youtube channel and read your website where you posted reviews on Eminem's albums.

The "Lol" (which you omitted) in your original retord "Lol, think for yourself" is derogatory, it passed judgement, you thought their view and their method of reasoning (critics) was LAUGHABLE because it differed from your opinion (and ultimately, [maybe even ironically?] you were in the wrong). That is in line with the definition of arrogance, which I provided for you in my post you quoted. You got your definition from thefreedictionary.com and I got mine from wiktionary - the point is your post was very arrogant as you didn't even read the fucking conversation you were commenting on lmao, you just jumped straight in "revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance" (hey look, I can use that definition to support my argument too!).

Just listened to the whole album. The only thing I can say is meh.

He had the good line here and there, but overall, it wasn't that great. Production was pretty good though. I did like the sample hooks he had going on, but that says nothing for his skill as a rapper.

Definitely not a 5/5 or 4/5 as some critics are saying it is. I'd give it a 2.5/5, and that's being generous.

This album is the definition of somebody believing their own hype.

From the ridiculous title to the arrogant lack of singles to the 'trying-too-hard-to-be-edgy' cover.

Critics may rave about the album because it's different to his previous albums (mainly in that it is shit) and they like to think they understand his 'art' better than everyone else. But the truth is, none of these tracks are remotely catchy, interesting or relevant.

New Slaves and Black Skinhead are the only highlights and even they don't really take off. I expected more of them from the live performances.

4/10

^They aren't meant to be catchy bruv. They certainly are interesting in most senses of the word, and not sure what you mean by not relevant.

Absolutely on point...
I don't even consider those good points you made when I judge on the music itself but I was wondering what Kanye was thinking... :shakehead:
Definitely a downgrade overall IMO.

I really do like this album but the one thing I can't stand on it is the guy he has singing all over these songs in a Jamaican voice. It fucks up a lot of awesome moments on the album to me. I'm In It, for example, fuckin' awesome until that faggot starts singing.

Not impressed with the album at all. Only track I liked was "Blood on the Leaves".
But what am I gonna do when the rage is gone and the lights go out in that trailer park?

Four bonus tracks coming on the 18th, possibly including "Would You Like a Tour?" featuring Drake.

You can't make this shit up.

This nigga really caught in his own hype, tried to hard and failed miserably.Blood on the leaves is the most decent song, and it's still some over the top 808s shit.Over-produced, zero lyrical quiality, dissapointment of the year really. He reached his peak with MBDTF and is going downhill since then, even Cruel Summer is better than this
