This is what I was thinking.
He speaks as if people can't stop talking about Big L or something. Big L hardly ever makes people's lists for best rappers, he hardly ever gets mentioned when rappers do RIP to all the fallen artists, and he rarely gets mentioned even when it comes to NY rap.
Big L is one of my all time favourites. His music was pure raw unadulterated fire. He had so much more to grow as a rapper, and so much potential. He represented what Jay-Z tried to be initially for me.
I'm also going to pretend I didn't read the comment on Big Pun being overrated too.
