Pac was more infulencial than anything. Outside of the super serious /gospel type songs all his material was very forgettable.

Exactly. His impact was bigger than his music. That exact same statement would also be true if you replaced Tupac with Eminem. The reason they get so much praise is because of whose mouth it's coming from. If Bob from down the street was coming up with Tupac/Encore and beyond Eminem songs, people would tell him he's whack, and he should stop.

But, 2Pac isn't wack :unsure:
