Whoah whoah whoah...Kanye hasn't dropped a bad album but he has not dropped a single classic album yet. The College Dropout is not a classic and neither is Late Registration and those are the only two albums that could even be considered. He needs to work on his rapping abilities if I'm gonna call this guy's discography perfect. Eminem's discography is light years beyond Kanye's to me. At the end of the day it is opinions but still...people throw the word classic around too much. Especially if that artist hasn't even dropped a classic. That's how it is with Kanye.

His discography isn't flawless by the way. Look at Cruel Summer. Terrible album.

That's your opinion though, i consider none of his albums classic since I can't go trough any of them without getting ultra fucking bored. The only one that I might consider classic is mbdtf.

that's not only my opinion
For example, an album like The College dropout will always be mentioned amongst the very best albums (all genre) of the previous decade and an album like MBDTF used to be the standard for more than 2 years.
An individual doesn't give the classic status to an album, of course you don't have to like his albums but Most of them were serving as standards of excellence and it's easy to see that he influenced a lot of artists

if kanye doesn't have classic albums then I don't know how 50 Cent or Eminem can have classic albums

I read shit like this and i dislike people tbh, his music is good but saying he is better than youre favourite artist or w/e, thats just some bullshit.

And if you think Kanye's disc. > Eminem's disc. then... consistancy maybe but overall nope.

What's the point ? my friends don't like Eminem and he is hated on a lot of forums, does it mean that Eminem doesn't have classic albums ?

A personal classic is probably an album that you can listen 10 years later but some albums are serving as standards of excellence because they had an impact, they were VERY well received and they captured a moment in time.
I would say that an album like The carter 4 was just a popular album but albums like TMMLP, some kanye west albums, Illmatic, GRODT were standards of excellence... they influenced a lot of artists/albums, they captured a moment in time and they're a part of the hip hop culture

Yeah mbdtf probably did that, but you're saying 'if not all his albums' and by saying that you lost all credibility. That like me saying everything by fif is a classic, even though it might be true on a personal level I know for sure that it isn't perceived like that generally

The College Drop out had a bigger impact than mbdtf tbh but yeah I agree, I shouldn't have said that but I seriously think that at least 2 out of the 5 albums are classic but the thing is that he is very consistent and it's impressive as fuck (cruel summer and wtt aren't solo albums)

Regardless Rolling Stones is the last place I would put my credibility in for a Hip-Hop review.
