TRshady's Top 25 Hip Hop producers of all time

That's why I take so bloody long to post my listsI've been sat here for the past 1½ hours listening to beats, and taking people in and out of the top 10. I didn't over-think things, though. I left some people out for different reasons. I left out the likes of The Neptunes and Organized Noize due to them having more manpower, as well as leaving out the likes of Timbaland, Scott Storch, Just Blaze etc. due to personal preference.

Definitely, going to have to give my list a reevaluation soon

I've got you, my man

1. DJ Premier (Incredibly consistent; superb sample selections, sexy scratch hooks. The man.)
2. Ant (Some of my favourite beats of all time have been produced by Ant; incredibly versatile, and far from a one trick pony when it comes to beat making.)
3. Dr. Dre (I actually wasn't going to put him this high, but after reflecting on it, I can't deny his body of work.)
4. J Dilla (Jay Dee, the man. Rest in Peace, incredibly unique talent.)
5. 9th Wonder (Stays in his lane, but really good at what he does.)
6. Kanye West (Can't deny his talent. Tremendous sample selection, along with some of the genre's most iconic beats under his belt.)
7. Exile (Probably the least acclaimed name on my list, but his body of work is excellent and up there with the best.)
8. The Alchemist (Mixes things up really well, yet doesn't over-complicate things. Consistently dope.)
9. Pete Rock (Iconic beats under his belt, that have stood the test of time.)
10. Buckwild (Distinct, distinguishably dope.)

FINALLY someone mentions Ant. Such an overlooked producer.

How did I forget Dangermouse?!?!?

Dude, I wanted to make him my number 10, but I also wanted to give Just Blaze at least a point (and just more praise in general) because he's accomplished so much and is crazy versatile.

when I was younger, I used to play the Big Tymers album a lot and His stuff on the first Carter and Birdman's album were top notch but he's been on a decline since then imo.
