No order
Wu-Tang: One of the main influences in this rap game over the past 15 years, from the classic 36 Chambers debut which blew my mind to Chamber Music, the Wu still go strong through thick and thin. YTou can also claim there's the only group that indivula members are on a similar level to one another, everyone deserves to be in the clan and have enjoyed sucess solely even in current times, the Wu evolve whilst keeping it relevant and not forgetting their roots
Eric. B & Rakim: Changing hip-hop history with Paid In Full was thier impact on Hip Hop and what an impact. For 1986, the album was ahead of it's time production and mc wise. The eveolved rap to the lyrical artists we have today. The group may not have lasted long butif the impact you leave is classic who cares about lifespan?
Mobb Deep: Forget Mobb Deep after Murda Muzik ( after that they only have a few good songs since), 90's Mobb Deep was alrways representing the Raw, Gutta, Low down dirty side of New York life and we loved for the realistic brutal lyrics that the talk about allowing people to relate to it. This is best known by Shook Ones Part 2, an anthem for 90's rap, one that sets people jumping when it comes on still to this day, but Mobb have other gems such as The Start Of Your Ending, Hell On Earth, Quiet Storm, Right Back At You
D12: Yer, baulk at the thought but to be brutally honest, Devil's Night and D12 World are 2 of the better albums to come out this decade. Apart from Bizarre, each member can hold their own on a track and are slicker than the average mc. Swift, Kuniva, Proof and Kon Artis all have their moments on the albums where can outdo Em who can drive D12 to a next level in songs (Fight Music being a prime example). Their recent stuff may not up to par but the good outweight the bad by far so shutup and pop some purple pills
Slaughterhouse:It may be premature but Hip-Hop needed rejuvination and this gave it a spark. Fate bought them together but theiy are a powerful force to be reckoned with. Each can hold their own solely and this year's self titled album showed they can make a good album. Now time will tell whether they ca leave their mark on rap
