I don't. That's why I like all kinds of rap, not just the super lyrical. I like Diddy's new album, and Diddy's not lyrical at all. I like Cudi, and he's not exactly the world's greatest wordsmith. I also take production into account, which is why Kanye's new album is great to me, even though lyrically he's nothing special
It's not all about lyrics, I know that. But to me, Relapse > Teflon Don. Lyrically, production-wise, flow-wise, storytelling...everything is better to me than the Teflon Don
If you want a lyrical nut, talk to Class (no offense to you, Class). As for me, I DON'T have a "fetish" for lyrics. Even though it's one of the most important parts of the music for me, like I said, it's not all about lyrics and I'm well aware of that
