24 vs. 48 does not mean the hook is 1/4 of the song lolololololololololololol it means its 1/3.


And you lose this argument, some does not mean 30-40% it means SOME. Like, a couple songs. Besides, id say 30-40% of underground music is catchy.

Making any music requires some level of talent, no matter how shitty or idiotic it is. Especially if it's mainstream music. Lil Wayne, for instance, is very mainstream. And despite my dislike for him most of the time, he obviously has to have some level of talent to make it where he is today. That talent is just overrated. And Wayne does have talent, whether us Stans want to admit that or not. He doesn't use it to its fullest is his problem.

Just for clarification, I never meant this thread to say Soulja Boy = Diabolic or something, obviously not. All I'm saying, is both mainstream and underground takes talent. An incredible mainstream song is on par with an incredible underground song. Get it?
